Weill Cornell Medicine
Ambulatory Facility
New York, NY
Following a successful collaboration on a Center for Reproductive Medicine, Weill Cornell engaged BAM to design the new Department of Ophthalmology. Designed for patient convenience, the space allows the medical team to provide a range of services featuring best-in-class equipment tailored to technical testing, visual fields, a treatment room, and thirteen exam rooms.
BAM kept Weill Cornell branding in mind throughout the project, incorporating the official colors into the finishes and furniture selection. Further highlighting the branding opportunity for Weill Cornell in the downtown area, BAM worked with the client team on exterior design elements, such as featuring the Well Cornell logo on the nearby dedicated street entrance, street-facing windows, and a Weill Cornell marquee. These exterior elements benefit Weill Cornell as a whole, as they promote other services offered in the building, including primary care, pediatrics, and OB/GYN practices.
