The immediate issue on this multi-phased project is to make improvements for an overburdened ED Department. The long-term issues being addressed are to accommodate the continued growth and overcrowding and the contraction of other departments throughout building. BAM and the client worked together to ensure that immediate ED expansion plan is incorporated in to the longterm plan, and orchestrate the movement of multiple departments while maintaining a fully functional ambulatory hospital.
